Facebook is the place to be for social networking. To maintain its top position, Facebook continuously keeps on upgrading and adding new add-ons for better user experience. One such recent example is the introduction of a feature wherein users can post a photo as a comment on a thread or wall. While website users can use this facility, app users donít have the benefit of using this as of now. The rationale behind making a feature available on a site and not on an app or vice a versa is not known but we wonder does it affect the usage of Facebook website or app in any way?

Our on device mobile measurement data reveals some facebook users (19%) are only app loyalists, some (17%) restrict their usage on websites. The rest, which constitute a major portion of Facebook users, access it via website as well as the app.
