Messaging over Smartphones is taking new shapes with rivals rapidly bringing out innovative products nearly every day. Snapchat, a photo and video messaging app is currently reigning the popularity charts with a reported buy-out offer from both Facebook and Google.

Snapchat told WSJ recently that over 70% of its users were women. While this could be true about the downloads, our Smartphone analytics clearly tells a different story when it comes to post-install usage.
