Cannabis cultivator Columbia Care Inc. CCHWF is collaborating with minority-owned baked goods and infused edibles company ButACake.
The partnership is expected to bring ButACake’s range of products, including Peanut Butter & Jelly brownies and ChocoChunk and Oatmeal Raisin cookies, to Columbia Care’s three Delaware locations — Wilmington, Smyrna, and Rehoboth Beach.
“Our goal is to provide these options to our patients who have a wide variety of needs and preferences,” Volley Hayhurst, VP of Operations at Columbia Care, stated. “We know that our collaboration with ButACake will be wildly popular with our patients.”

ButACake, founded in 2015, started as a non-infused line of baked goods sold at farmers’ markets in New Jersey. It eventually became a cannabis edibles brand by using Columbia Care’s cannabis oil in its products.
“We’re thrilled to work with Columbia Care to bring relief to patients who need it. It’s an exciting time to be in the industry and help normalize and celebrate the benefits of cannabis for patients in Delaware, and we can’t wait to see this relationship continue to develop and expand,” said ButACake CEO Matha Figaro.
ButACake’s brownies and cookies will be baked on-site.
